PROJECTS & COLLABORATIONS

Algoma Alley Activation Project

In 2023, the Oshkosh Art Collective partnered with the Downtown Oshkosh BID to ravamp a neglected and underutilized alleyway in the downtown area. Through this collaboration we added murals by local artists to create an attractive and welcoming space for pedestrians- encouraging visitors to enjoy the art, take selfies, and explore area businesses. See more project details below!
  • This project was the recepient of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation – Vibrant Spaces Grant.
  • It includes original public art pieces by 9 local artists of varying experience levels. This proccess involved an open call for art, selections by a comittee, and hands-on assistance to guide artists through the public art proccess.
  • Additional lighting, seating, and sculptural elements will be added Spring 2024.
